The Department of Social Work in collaboration with SOCH NGO organized a health and screening camp, with the motive of surveying cases related to Diabetes mellitus and Hypertension in rural population. The event was scheduled at 10:00 a.m. near Qila Ka Nagla, Aligarh.
The session commenced under the chairmanship of Prof Naseem Ahmed Khan. The camp was further glorified by the demeanor of Senior Faculty Dr. Mohammed Tahir and SOCH Founder, Dr Saleem Mohammad khan.
Keeping the notion of WHO alive,the organizers associated with a team of doctors, who devoted their efforts in examining and assessment of the cases involved - Dr Saleem Mohammad khan, Dr Karthika, Dr Shahe Alam. Dr Sarfaraz, Dr Talib, Dr Ashraf. Mr. Haroon Hafeez, coordinator of SOCH NGO unitedly with Social Work Students successfully managed the whole programme.
The students of social work laboriously coordinated and worked along with the army of doctors and SOCH NGO workers towards accomplishing the target of examining approximately 70 patients.They conducted various tests with the aid of Blood Pressure monitoring devices, blood glucose monitors and some other basic tests.
